Hello!

 

         My name is Amy. I am married to my high school sweetheart; we have three beautiful children that keep us very busy! I work full-time as an Administrative Assistant at a sawmill. I am an only child & a animal lover! I love MSU Basketball, True Crime shows, Dr. Phil, going to the beach, and lounging in my pool...when I find the time! ;)

 

      I have always loved to take pictures! When my children were younger I was always taking their pictures. Being a young mom I couldn't afford to take them to a photographer for every milestone, so I took their pictures. Over the years I have taken pictures for family and friends. One day a friend told me I should really consider taking pictures for the public, I laughed it off and thought, yeah sure....who would want "me" to take their pictures....and actually pay me to do it. The next week my dad passed away suddenly. I was planning on taking his pictures that afternoon. The next week I thought what the heck and decided to start a Facebook page and would just see how big of a response I had. I started to think of a name for my photography page. "Don't Blink" instantly came to my mind. "Don't Blink' has several meanings to me; Time goes by so fast, my kids are almost grown, it feels like I just literally 'Blinked" my eyes and they are no longer babies. After my dad passed away I saw just how precious life is. He was here in one moment and gone in the next. We need to cherish each moment we have because in the "Blink" of an eye it can be gone; and of course when your getting your pictures made "Don't Blink". I love to use that line when someone "Blinks" ;) So with that, Don't Blink Photography was started. It didn't take long before I started getting very busy! It got to the point where I had to limit how many sessions I would take on in a week.

 

         I have been so Blessed! It still amazes me that someone wants "me" to take their pictures. It's such an honor to be trusted by someone to take their precious memories. I love the relationships I have built with my clients. I love to see their families grow.

       

       I have tried to learn all that I can about photography and editing to be able to provide the best photograph I can and provide afforable prices.

 

      Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would be where I am today, but I am loving & enjoying every minute of it :)
